Lyric Scott joins the field hockey staff as a graduate assistant. A standout midfielder and proven leader, Coach Scott brings passion, leadership skills, and a great understanding of the game to our program.
Scott most recently completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Psychology at Rider University. As a four-year member of the Rider University Field Hockey Team, she played a critical role in the team’s success, earning numerous accolades including: 2024 NEC Midfielder of the Year, two-time NEC First-Team All-Conference selection, and team captain in both her junior and senior year.
In addition to her playing career, Scott brings significant coaching experience. She has coached youth athletes through Leap Hockey and Rapid Fire Elite, leading skills clinics and training sessions for players ranging from U14 to U19. She also conducts individual training sessions focused on improving fundamental skills and player development.
Off the field, Lyric has demonstrated leadership as a member of Rider's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where she served as Social Media Chair.
