Henry D’Alberto ’97 is in his fourth year as head coach of the men’s golf program at Lehigh. Last year the Mountain Hawks leader led the Brown and White to a pair of first place finishes (Lafayette Invitational, Lehigh Valley Cup) and he mentored a pair of All-Patriot League performers in Shane Gilroy ’09 and current team member Duncan Zeiders.
During the 2007-08 year, D’Alberto saw the Mountain Hawks win their second consecutive Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational and post a top-three finish at the Patriot League Championship for the second straight season
In his inaugural season as head coach D’Alberto and Lehigh won the Lafayette Invite and the Lehigh Valley Invite, while Steve Suarez ’10 garnered Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors after posting a fourth place finish at the Patriot League Championship. In addition, Suarez and Matt Denison were named to the All-Patriot League Teams.
During his playing career at Lehigh, D’Alberto earned multiple individual accolades and captained the team during his junior and senior seasons. He was a First-Team All-League selection all four years and was a two-time First-Team All-District II honoree. In 1996, D’Alberto became the program’s first-ever Patriot League champion en route to leading the then-Engineers to its first-ever Patriot League championship. A winner of many college tournaments, D’Alberto’s made a lasting impact on the Patriot League by being named to the Patriot League All-Decade Team.

D’Alberto earned his bachelors in Finance from Lehigh in 1997. In addition to his coaching duties at Lehigh, he currently works with his father in a small investment business and acts as a financial advisor.
