Checo Named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America Honorable Mention

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Senior Richard Checo, who started all 14 games as a junior for Lehigh in 2025 and caused 45 turnovers, was named an Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America Honorable Mention.

Checo was also selected to the 2025 Preseason All-Patriot League team. He enters the season with 147 career caused turnovers, just 13 shy of the Division I record.

Following last season, Checo earned both Nike All-America honors and USA All-America recognition after recording 40 ground balls and 45 caused turnovers.

Lehigh men's lacrosse will open its season next Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Faceoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.
