Lehigh Prepared for Wednesday Night Matchup at Loyola Maryland

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh (8-8, 4-2 Patriot League) heads back on the road for a Patriot League matchup at Loyola Maryland (8-9, 4-2) on Wednesday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
The game will stream on ESPN+ and can also be heard on FOX Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.Â
The Mountain Hawks are 4-2 in Patriot League play after opening the conference season with four straight wins over Army, Bucknell, Holy Cross and Colgate.Â
Heading into Wednesday night's matchup, senior Lily Fandre leads the Patriot League in scoring during league play, averaging 18.6 points per game. She was named Patriot League Player of the Week on Jan. 12 after averaging 22 points and five rebounds in wins over Holy Cross and Colgate.
As a team, Lehigh ranks second in the league in scoring in league games, averaging 67.8 points per game.
The Mountain Hawks last competed on Wednesday, Jan. 14, and since then have added two walk-ons to the roster. Junior Cyndea Labissiere, a member of the women's soccer team, and first-year Melani Dowling, who competes on the track team, have joined the Lehigh women's basketball team.Â
"We are so grateful for Melani and Cyndea for showing what it means to be team-first and joining our roster. This is what our Lehigh Athletics family is all about," head coach Addie Micir said regarding the new additions.
Loyola enters Wednesday night's matchup riding a three-game winning streak, with the victories coming by a combined six points. The Greyhounds are 4-2 in the Patriot League and 8-9 overall. Graduate student Lex Therien leads Loyola in scoring, averaging 17 points per game this season and just over 18 points per game in league play.Â
Lehigh swept Loyola a season ago and is 7-3 in their last 10 matchups against the Greyhounds.
