Lehigh Set to Compete in WNIT

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh received an at-large bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament, the tournament committee announced late Sunday night, marking the first time the Mountain Hawks will compete in the WNIT.

The Mountain Hawks (17-14) will face Monmouth (20-11) on Thursday night at 6 p.m. in West Long Branch, N.J., with the winner advancing to face Cleveland State in round two, scheduled for March 22-24, 2026.

Monmouth University, a member of the CAA, enjoyed a strong season, finishing 20-11 overall and 12-6 in conference play. The Hawks were recently eliminated by Stony Brook University in the CAA quarterfinals.

Of the 48-team field, Lehigh was one of 39 squads to receive an at-large bid.
