Lehigh WBB Announces 2026-27 Schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa - A pair of games against power conference opponents, including a Nov. 2 matchup against the defending national champions on opening day, and the return of the Christmas City Classic highlight the 2026-27 Lehigh women's basketball schedule, announced by head coach Addie Micir. The Mountain Hawks will play a 29-game slate, including 18 Patriot League contests and 12 games at Stabler Arena.Â
The season will begin out west, as the Mountain Hawks take on defending national champion UCLA on Monday, Nov. 2. The game will serve as a homecoming for sophomore Leia Edwards, who attended Sierra Canyon High School in California.Â
The home opener for Lehigh is set for Wednesday, Nov. 11, when the Mountain Hawks welcome Mount St. Mary's to Stabler Arena. Lehigh will also host Towson and Fairfield during its non-league schedule.Â
Coming out of Thanksgiving, Lehigh will host the Christmas City Classic at Stabler Arena on Nov. 28-29. The Mountain Hawks will face Liberty on Nov. 28 before taking on either Harvard or Pitt on Nov. 29.
Lehigh will round out its non-league schedule with a trip to power conference opponent Maryland on Dec. 7 before concluding non-league play against LIU on Dec. 19.Â
"The schedule is about getting tested early, getting better and finding out just how good this team can be," said Micir. "We are excited to challenge ourselves against the best and prepare ourselves for an always competitive Patriot League slate."Â
As for Patriot League play, the Mountain Hawks will open league play Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Stabler Arena against American.
The Rivalry games with Lafayette will once again be played as doubleheaders with the men's teams. The doubleheader at Stabler Arena, presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health, is set for Jan. 30, while the return doubleheader at Lafayette is scheduled for Feb. 20.Â
Other home league games include visits from Army (Jan. 6), Bucknell (Jan. 9), Navy (Jan. 16), Loyola (Jan. 23), Boston University (Feb. 3), Holy Cross (Feb. 13) and Colgate (Feb. 23).
Lehigh will travel to Navy on Feb. 27 for a rematch of last season's Patriot League Tournament semifinal. The game will serve as the regular season finale. The Patriot League Tournament will begin with the first round on Monday, March 1, followed by the quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 3, the semifinals on Saturday, March 6, and the championship on Tuesday, March 9.
Single game and season ticket packages for Lehigh women's basketball will go on sale in October.Â
