Lehigh Garners WBCA Special Mention Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's basketball team was recognized for its academic achievements, earning special mention honors from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association earlier this week.

Teams that have a GPA of a 3.0 or better were considered for the award. The Patriot League champion Mountain Hawks finished the year with a 3.615 GPA, finishing just outside the top 25.
The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew. "The 119 teams we honor this year strive to achieve all-around success and we commend their efforts. Congratulations!"

Earlier this summer, 13 student-athletes from last season were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
