BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh will close out its northern California trip with a visit to San Francisco Tuesday night at the War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. Game time is set for 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT with broadcast coverage on ESPN+. The Mountain Hawks are making their first ever visit to the Hilltop to face off against a West Coast Conference opponent for just the fourth time in program history.
The Mountain Hawks opened their California trip with a 98-43 loss at Stanford on Sunday. Los Gatos native Belle Bramer led Lehigh with 13 points, but the Mountain Hawks couldn't keep up with the hot shooting Cardinal, who shot 67 percent from the field and scored 60 points in the paint. Lehigh shot just 30 percet from the field and only made 6-of-31 attempts from deep.
The two games in the San Francisco Bay Area mark a homecoming opportunity for Bramer, junior Gracyn Lovette (San Rafael) and sophomore Keshia Vitalicio (Concord).
First-year Leia Edwards was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week Monday after averaging 13.5 points and five rebounds per game last week, including a 22-point effort in a win over Drexel last Wednesday. Junior Jessie Ozzauto leads four Mountain Hawks averaging double figure scoring with 14.5 points per game.
San Francisco is 3-2 on the season and is coming off back-to-back wins over UC San Diego and Long Beach State. The Dons were 15-16 in 2024-25 and advanced to the WCC quarterfinals.
Candy Edokpaigbe leads the Dons averaging 18.2 points per game. Noella Mouriño averages 10 points and a team-leading 7.6 rebounds per game.
This will be the first-ever meeting between Lehigh and San Francisco in women's basketball.
Lehigh returns to Stabler Arena for its next two games, both against Ivy League foes, as the Mountain Hawks host Brown Sunday at 2 p.m. and then Cornell Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m.
