Mountain Hawks Return Home to Host Brown Sunday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh returns from its northern California trip to host Brown Sunday in the first of back-to-back home games against Ivy League opponents. Game time is set for 2 p.m. from Stabler Arena. Tickets can be purchased at LehighTickets.com.
The Mountain Hawks dropped both games of their California trip, but there were some bright spots. Senior Lily Fandre scored a career-high 27 points Tuesday night at San Francisco as Lehigh trimmed a 21-point deficit down to five late. Northern California natives Belle Bramer and Gracyn Lovette had strong efforts in their homecoming games, with Bramer scoring 13 at Stanford and Lovette matching that number in a season-best effort at San Francisco.
Junior Jessie Ozzauto dished out a career-high eight assists at San Francisco and continues to lead Lehigh in scoring, averaging 13.7 points per game. First-year Leia Edwards, the reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Week, is averaging 12.3 points and a team-leading 5.2 rebounds.
Brown is 5-2 on the season, following back-to-back losses to open the season with five consecutive victories. Lehigh is the fourth Patriot League Brown will face in its eighth game. The Bears defeated Boston University and Bucknell, topping the Bison 61-50 on Friday, and lost a 65-64 final to Holy Cross.
Grace Arnolie (15.8 ppg.) and Alyssa Moreland (15.1 ppg.) are the lone Bears to average double figures in scoring. Moreland scored a game-high 16 points in Friday's win at Bucknell. She also leads Brown, averaging 10.9 rebounds per game.
Lehigh and Brown meet for the 14th time with the Bears leading the series 7-6. The Mountain Hawks have won the last three meetings, including a 62-55 victory last November in Rhode Island.
Lehigh returns to Stabler Arena on Wednesday to host Cornell at 6 p.m.
