BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Top-seeded Lehigh women's basketball will face No. 2 Army on Sunday at 12 p.m. at Stabler Arena in the Patriot League championship game. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network. The Mountain Hawks are aiming for their fifth title in program history, having last won in 2021 with a 64-54 victory over Boston University.

Tickets for the game are available at LehighTickets.com. Faculty and staff can purchase tickets online, while students can swipe their Lehigh ID at the entrance to Stabler Arena, where the cost of their student ticket will be covered by Student Auxiliary Services.

Lehigh (25-6) secured a dominant 65-44 win over No. 5 Holy Cross in the semifinals, booking their spot in the championship game. The Mountain Hawks led 16-11 after the first quarter and never relinquished the lead.

Two players finished in double figures, with fifth-year wing Maddie Albrecht leading the way with 19 points. Senior guard Colleen McQuillen added 14 points. Albrecht also contributed five rebounds, four assists, and four steals in the win.

Albrecht, who has played in 134 games, is just one game shy of tying Kristen Dalton '11 for the most games played in program history. The Billings, Mont., native is poised to break the record with her next appearance.

Army earned its spot in the title game with a 49-39 victory over Bucknell in the semifinals on March 14. Trinity Hardy led the Black Knights with a team-high 16 points. Army led by just one point (14-13) after the first quarter, but controlled the next three quarters to secure the win.

In their most recent meeting on March 1, the Mountain Hawks defeated Army 76-61 to capture the outright regular season championship. After trailing 15-7 early in the first quarter, the Mountain Hawks outscored the Black Knights 27-13 in the second quarter and held the lead for the remainder of the game.

Five Lehigh players finished in double figures in that victory, with senior guard Ella Stemmer leading the charge with 18 points. Junior forward Lily Fandre and sophomore forward Whitney Lind each contributed 14 points, while senior forward Meghan O'Brien and first-year Belle Bramer both added 10 points.

Lehigh's first meeting with Army this season was on Jan. 12, where the Mountain Hawks dominated with a 90-51 victory, shooting a season-high 57% from the field on 33 made field goals.
Lehigh is 42-36 all-time against the Black Knights, having won the last six matchups.

Lehigh is 5-1 in Patriot League Championship games, with a victory at Boston University in its last appearance in 2021. The Mountain Hawks' lone loss came in the 2014-15 season, a 66-60 defeat to American.

A win on Sunday for Lehigh would send the Mountain Hawks to the first round of the NCAA Tournament, with the date and opponent to be determined.
