Zhu Tabbed As Patriot League Women's Golfer of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh junior Yuki Zhu was named Patriot League Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday. Zhu was Lehigh's top performer at the Mountain Hawks' spring-opening appearance at the Babs Steffens Invitational, where she tied for 21st place as Lehigh finished 11th in a 15-team field that also included Patriot League member Bucknell.

This is the second career Golfer of the Week award for Zhu, who posted a final score of 232 (75-80-77), with the first-round 75 the low round of the 54-hole event for Mountain Hawk golfers. Zhu carded six birdies over her 54 holes including three in a final round Tuesday where the Shanghai, China native played the back nine at two under par 34.

Zhu also led Lehigh at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational back in October and holds a 77.83 scoring average over 12 rounds during the 2024-25 season.

The Mountain Hawks will be back in action over Spring Break when they compete at South Dakota State's Spring Jackrabbit Invitational, March 10-11 in Boulder City, Nev.
