Ding '21 to Serve as Assistant Captain for U.S. Junior Solheim Cup Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's golf alumna Angela Ding '21 has been selected as Assistant Captain for the United States team that will compete at the 2026 PING Junior Solheim Cup. Ding will assist team captain Morgan Pressel at the biennial event featuring the 12 best female junior golfers (ages 12-18) against their European counterparts.
This year's event will be held September 7–8, 2026, at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, Netherlands, immediately prior to the Solheim Cup.
Ding was a four-year letterwinner for the Mountain Hawks and captained the team during its spring 2021 season. She earned second team All-Patriot League honors as a sophomore in 2019 after a ninth-place finish at the Patriot League Championship.
Prior to her time at Lehigh, Ding had experience on the national stage, representing the United States at the 2016 Euro Junior Cup and San Diego at the 2016 Girls' Junior America's Cup.
Ding joined the American Junior Golf Association as a Communications Coordinator in 2022 and now serves as the Communications Director for the AJCA. She graduated from Lehigh in 2021 with a marketing degree.
