Hall Leads Lehigh on Day One at Patriot League Championship

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Lehigh women's golf team shot 311 Friday in the opening round of the Patriot League Championship at the Naval Academy Golf Club. The Mountain Hawks are tied with Boston University for third place in the five-team field. Lehigh and BU are 13 strokes behind Navy and Bucknell which finished the day tied for the team lead.

Sophomore Alana Hall led the Mountain Hawks Friday with a round of four over par 76. Hall made five birdies and is tied for eighth place.

One stroke behind Hall is senior Yuki Zhu, who is tied for 12th place at 77. Zhu's opening round included three birdies.

Junior Stefania Fedun is tied for 14th place after shooting 78 with one birdie. Sophomore Reese Hannon carded three birdies in her opening round 80 and is tied for 17th place.

First-years Sienna Mosquera and Alisia Ren shot 82 and 93, respectively.

Navy's Keira Howard is the individual leader at one over par 73. She leads three players by one stroke.

The Patriot League Championship continues Saturday with round two, once again beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lehigh will again play with Bucknell and Navy with tee times beginning at 9:30 a.m.
