Lehigh To Conclude Regular Season On The Road At Bucknell

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League regular season concludes for Lehigh men's tennis this weekend, as the Mountain Hawks will travel west to Lewisburg for one last dual meet against Bucknell on Saturday. The match will have significant ramifications in the league standings, as Lehigh and Bucknell are currently ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
Lehigh (11-10, 4-3 PL) welcomed rival Lafayette to the Ulrich Varsity Tennis Courts on Tuesday and earned a dominant 4-0 win over the Leopards. The Mountain Hawks swept the Leopards in doubles play before earning singles wins from Matt Kleiman, Jackson Morash and Benedict Horn-Bourque to secure the victory. The win was Lehigh's 14th in a row against Lafayette dating back to 2008.
Bucknell (13-6, 2-2 PL) competed against Navy on Sunday but ultimately fell 5-2 to the Midshipmen. The Bison have two more Patriot League matches on their schedule before next week's league tournament, including this Saturday's match against Lehigh and a season-finale against Lafayette at home on Sunday. The Mountain Hawks are 7-2 in their last nine meetings with the Bison.
The Mountain Hawks and Bison are scheduled to begin play in Lewisburg at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriot League tournament is slated to begin next week on Thursday, April 25.
