Mountain Hawks Head To No. 20 Navy In Midweek Matchup

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's lacrosse team travels to Annapolis, Md. for a midweek matchup with Navy at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last time out, Lehigh fell 13-11 to Holy Cross on Alumni Day and Senior Day last Saturday. Graduate student Gabby Schneider led the Mountain Hawks with four goals and three assists while Emma Eberhardt tallied four goals and one assist.
Navy defeated Army 17-11 last Saturday, leading to Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week nods for Felecia Giglio and Rookie of the Week honors for Mikayla Williams. Junior Emily Messinese leads the Mids with 65 points off 52 goals and 13 assists. Draw specialist Alyssa Daley was named the USA Lacrosse Division I Women's Player of the Week after recording a season-high 17 draw controls against Army.
The Mids lead the all-time series 15-6, defeating Lehigh 15-4 last season. Schneider and Eberhardt netted two goals apiece in the loss.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with opening draw set for 6 p.m.
