Lehigh To Close Out Regular Season With Two Away Matches

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's tennis will close out the regular season with two straight matches, starting with a match at Army West Point on Friday at 4 p.m. before facing Boston University on Saturday at 12 p.m. in West Point, N.Y.
The Mountain Hawks are 13-5 (4-2 PL). If Lehigh wins one match, it would be tied for the most wins in program history since 1988. If the Mountain Hawks win both matches, it would mark the most wins in program history.
The Black Knights are 16-8 (4-1 PL), and the Terriers are 11-7 (2-0 PL). Army defeated Bucknell 7-0 on April 6 after suffering its first Patriot League loss to Navy on March 30 in a 4-2 defeat. The Terriers have won their last two matches.
Hamsa Javagal earned a Patriot League Honorable Mention on April 9 after beating Bucknell's Whitney King 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 1 singles spot. Javagal is 8-6 this season in singles play and 3-1 in league play. In singles, Anushka Dania and Maggie Forkner are both 5-1 in league play.
Following this weekend's matches, Lehigh will head to Annapolis, Md. for the Patriot League Tournament, April 18-21.
