Lehigh Readies For Three Matches in Three Days

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's tennis will gear up for its busiest part of the season as the Mountain Hawks are scheduled to play three matches in three days, starting Sunday morning and ending Tuesday afternoon.
Lehigh will head north to face three Massachusetts schools. The Mountain Hawks will play UMass on Sunday at 11 a.m., Stonehill on Monday at 11 a.m. and open up Patriot League play at Holy Cross on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
Lehigh is 8-2 this season and is coming off of a 4-1 victory over Marist on March 2. The Mountain Hawks won the doubles point for the eighth straight match. Hamsa Javagal and Audrey Harrington remain undefeated in doubles as partners, winning eight matches.
Senior Megha Dania earned a Patriot League honorable mention on March 4 after winning both of her matches and clinching the victory over the Red Foxes. Megha and Anushka Dania have also had a strong start to the season in doubles play, holding an 8-2 record. Megha also has one of the best singles records at 8-2.
The Minutewomen are 5-3 this season. UMass will play Yale on Saturday at 1 p.m. before facing Lehigh the following day. Stonehill is 2-13 this season and on a five-match losing streak. Holy Cross is 1-3 this season and on a two-match losing streak. The Mountain Hawks did not face the Crusaders last season as the match was canceled.
After three straight matches, Lehigh will have a little bit of a break before playing at Navy on March 23.
