Mountain Hawks Host Georgetown Saturday for Morgan’s Message Game/Youth Day

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's lacrosse team plays host to non-conference foe Georgetown at 12 p.m. on Saturday at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The game will serve as Lehigh's Youth Day and Morgan's Message Game to bring awareness to mental health.
Last time out, the Mountain Hawks fell 9-7 in a tight contest with Penn State to move to 4-2 on the season. Senior goalkeeper Hayley Hunt had a strong performance in net, making 11 saves while picking up two ground balls and one caused turnover. Graduate student Emma Eberhardt led Lehigh offensively with a hat trick, while Gabby Schneider chipped in two goals and one assist with both of her goals coming in the final minutes.
Senior Emma Fiore picked up five draw controls in the matchup while seven Mountain Hawks earned one caused turnover apiece. First-year Camilla Madonna claimed one of the caused turnovers while leading Lehigh with three ground balls.
Georgetown is 2-6 overall, heading into Saturday on a six-game losing streak, starting the season with wins over American (18-13) and Towson (13-5). Two of the Hoyas' losses included a 13-11 loss to Delaware on Mar. 2 and a 17-5 loss to Loyola on Mar. 6.
Gracie Driggs leads the Hoyas with 17 goals and one assist while Emma Gebhardt ranks second with 16 goals and three assists.
