EASTON, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball outscored Lafayette 7-5 in overtime to secure the 70-68 victory Saturday afternoon at the Kirby Sports Center.
"It's the Patriot League, and it's Lehigh-Lafayette," said head coach Addie Micir. "That's just what you expect. You have got to give a lot of credit to Lafayette. They shot the ball so incredibly well - just big shot after big shot, but I'm really proud of the resilience we showed."
The Mountain Hawks improved to 14-8 and 6-5 in Patriot League play. The Leopards are now 8-14 overall and 3-8 in league play.
