Lehigh to Face Monmouth on Saturday in Lone Dual Meet of Fall Season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's tennis team will head to Little Silver Tennis Club in Little Silver, N.J. to take on Monmouth on Saturday. Match play begins at 2:45 p.m.Â
The Mountain Hawks will look to carry their success from the Lehigh Hidden Dual into Saturday's match, which is the lone dual match of the fall season. Â
Lehigh swept Colgate and Saint Joseph's in doubles. In the first round of singles, Lehigh won six out of its seven matches against Saint Joseph's. Maggie Forkner, Megha Dania, Hannah Letzer, Giselle Vlassis, Adurey Harrington and Anushka Dania all picked up wins against the Owls.Â
Megha Dania was the only Mountain Hawk to pick up a win in the second round of singles against Army.
The Mountain Hawks competed against Colgate in the third round of singles, and they won six of its seven matches. Forkner, Megha, Allyce Gaborik, Letzer, Harrington and Anushka Dania all won their matches.Â
Lehigh and Monmouth both competed at the Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational in Annapolis, Md. While there was no team score, Lehigh did face the Hawks last season, where Lehigh captured a 5-2 win. The Mountain Hawks won all three doubles matches, and won four of its six matches.Â
Following the Monmouth match, Lehigh will compete in ITA Regionals from Oct. 6-8 at Columbia University .Â
