Jablonski Named To Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh senior offensive lineman Christian Jablonski has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League team announced Wednesday morning. Jablonski was recognized as one of the top 14 student-athletes in Patriot League football combining academic and athletic success.

A supply chain management major with a 3.38 cumulative GPA, Jablonski was selected as a semifinalist for the prestigious William V. Campbell Trophy, given to college football's top scholar-athlete, earlier this season. Jablonski is a two-year member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and has made Lehigh's Dean's List with a GPA better than 3.60 in three of his first six semesters.

On the field, the Ligonier, Pa., native started 10 of Lehigh's 11 games on the offensive line this season. Jablonski settled in at right tackle helping Lehigh close the season with seven consecutive 100-yard rushing games. During that seven-game stretch, the Mountain Hawks allowed just three quarterback sacks.

Jablonski has been a four-year starter for the Mountain Hawks, beginning his Lehigh career on the defensive line before switching sides of the ball prior to the 2022 campaign.

To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor. The Academic All-Patriot League team for football has 14 student-athletes, and is voted on the league's sports information directors.
