BALTIMORE - Lehigh men's swimming and diving suffered a setback in the season opener, falling 252-44 to Loyola Saturday afternoon at Mangione Pool.

Ben Kisker scored six points for Lehigh after taking third in the 100-yard backstroke (51.95) and third in the 200-yard backstroke (1:54.14).

Junior diver Jack Grotke picked up two points in his first-ever collegiate meet after coming in fourth in the one-meter dive with 130.88 points.

Sean Davis and Keagan Casey brought home a combined three points after Davis came in fourth in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:07.38) and Casey came in fifth (10:08.65).

The group of Elvin Lee, Carson Morris, Aaron Williams and Jack Devilbiss picked up two points in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:33.65.

Connor Goodyear took home a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:44.85).

First-year Carson Morris four points for the Mountain Hawks after tallying a fifth-place mark in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.38) and a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:10.44).

The Mountain Hawks return to action on Oct. 20 with a meet against West Chester in what will be Lehigh's home opener.
