Lehigh to Finish Up Non-League Schedule vs. Seton Hall on Friday
1/12/2023 1:36:00 PM | Men's Swimming and Diving
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh men's swimming and diving team will have its final non-conference meet of the year when the Mountain Hawks host Seton Hall on Friday at 1 p.m.
The meet was originally supposed to be at Seton Hall but will now be a home meet for Lehigh. This will be Lehigh's second home meet of the season, and the final one of the year.
The men are 2-4, while Seton Hall is 4-1. The Pirates only loss this season came against Army West Point. Lehigh and Seton Hall have both faced Rider and Drexel this season. The Mountain Hawks were defeated by both the Broncs and the Dragons and the Pirates won both of those meets.
First-year Aaron Williams' times didn't count in the Drexel meet, but he had an impressive showing either way. Williams would have won the 50-yard butterfly, the 50-yard freestyle, came in second in the 200-yard freestyle and been on the winning 200-yard medley relay team.
The men are 0-1 all-time against Seton Hall. The first-ever meeting came in the 2017-18 season, where Lehigh lost 154-140.
The Mountain Hawks will head to Lewisburg on Jan. 21 to take on a familiar opponent in Bucknell at 12 p.m.
