Petersen Tallies Win as Lehigh Falls at Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Mountain Hawks continued their march through the Patriot League schedule with a trip to Navy on Saturday. The Midshipmen claimed a 6-1 victory and improve to 19-10 overall, 2-1 in the league. Lehigh is now 7-7 overall and 1-2 in league play.
Navy took an early lead after sweeping the doubles matches. The Mids then went on to five the six singles matches, including four in straight-sets.
Jack Petersen claimed Lehigh's lone on the day, winning in three sets at the fourth flight. The senior edged out Walker Sims, 12-10 in the third set for his sixth victory of the season and second in league play. Petersen is now 6-8 overall and 2-1 against league opponents.
The Mountain Hawks will return to action on Wednesday as they return home to face Bucknell at 3:30 p.m.
