BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks will make their third and final scheduled trip to North Carolina this season as they face defending Atlantic 10 Champion Davidson in a three-game set. The series will span three days with game times set for 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday.

All three games will be streamed live on A-10 Network and live stats will also be available for each game day.

Lehigh (2-5) is coming off a 1-2 appearance in a three-game set last weekend at NC A&T. LU split the Saturday doubleheader as the Aggies took game one, 8-4, and Lehigh edged out a 3-2 victory in game two behind a stellar pitching performance by Peter Moore. A&T broke open a nine-run lead in the first inning of game three and held off Lehigh for an 11-5 victory to win the series.

Moore was the catalyst in Lehigh's lone victory of the weekend as he earned his first win of the season while making his second start. The senior southpaw tossed 7.0 innings and compiled eight strikeouts, which are both a season-highs for a Lehigh pitcher this season in a single appearance. Moore played a big role in helping the LU pitching staff hold NC A&T to its lowest single-game hit (4) and run totals (2) this season.

Moore's eight strikeouts led all LU pitchers for the week, while his 0.00 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and one extra-base hit allowed were lowest among all LU starters for the week. For the season, Moore leads LU with 13 strikeouts and 13.0 innings pitched, while he leads the starters with a 1.38 ERA and a .178 opponent batting average.

Offensively, Blake Rapoport compiled one of the top performances of the weekend as he tied for the team lead with four hits and a .444 batting average, while he led the team with three RBI and a .583 on-base percentage. Thomas Schumacher also compiled four hits and a .444 batting average to go along with a team-leading six total bases and a team-best .667 slugging percentage.

For the season, James Bleming paces the LU offense with a .407 batting average (11-for-27) and a .484 on-base percentage. He has compiled a team-best 13 total bases as he and Jeff Shanfeldt are tied for the team lead in runs scored (5).

Coming off their most successful season in program history, which saw the Wildcats (7-1) claim their first-ever conference title in its 115-year existence and proceed to sweep the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional, Davidson was selected to finish fifth in the 2018 Atlantic 10 Preseason Coaches' Poll. Davidson is primed for another successful campaign as six position starters and two starting pitchers return from the 2017 squad.

Davidson is led offensively by its junior utility man Eric Jones who is hitting .423 (11-for-26) and slugging .846 with a team-high 18 RBI and a team-best 11 runs scored. Jones is coming off a monster week in which he earned Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors as he hit .462 (6-for-13) and slugged 1.308 with 17 RBI to lead Davidson to four wins on the week. Five of his six hits were of the extra-base variety, including three home runs, one of which was his first-career grand slam.

The Wildcats are projected to throw right-hander Allen Barry (1-0), left-hander Evan Roberts (1-0) and right-hander Josh Hudson (1-0) this weekend. Barry leads the trio with a 0.90 ERA through 10.0 innings pitched in two starts this season. He leads the team with 15 strikeouts to go along with five walks. Roberts has surrendered the most hits on the staff (15) while also pitching the most innings (13.0), but owns an 11-0 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

The Mountain Hawks and Wildcats will meet for the sixth time when the two teams get together Friday with Lehigh owning a 3-2 lead in the all-time series which began in 2007. Davidson has won the last two meetings, including a 7-4 victory in last season's meeting at Wilson Field.
