Four Mountain Hawks Named To CSC Academic All-District Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025-26 Baseball Academic All-District team on Tuesday afternoon. Senior Cole Leaman, sophomore Jake Mulvehill, sophomore Max Treonze, and senior Owen Walewander were recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA while competing in at least 90% of team games played or have started at least 66% of the total number of team games played. For pitchers, players must pitch 35-plus innings or appear in 17 games as a pitcher.
A member of the 2026 Academic All-Patriot League team, Leaman graduated Lehigh with a cumulative 3.78 GPA in economics and Spanish. Leaman made 12 appearances on the mound this past season, all of which were starts. He posted a team-high 4.21 ERA in 47.0 innings pitched. Leaman's 54 strikeouts ranked fifth in the Patriot League and he posted a .232 batting average against.
Mulvehill currently holds a 3.88 GPA in accounting through his first two seasons in the brown and white. Mulvehill posted a 5-2 record with a 5.16 ERA in 45.1 innings pitched in 2026. In addition, his 46 strikeouts ranked third on the team.
Treonze holds a 3.50 GPA in finance following his sophomore year. A consistent fixture in Lehigh's pitching staff, Treonze made 15 appearances with one start over 39.1 innings pitched, posting a 5.72 ERA with 33 strikeouts.
Walewander graduated from Lehigh with a 3.58 GPA in accounting, also earning a spot on the 2026 Academic All-Patriot League team. In his final season in the brown and white, Walewander batted .263 on 42 hits with a team-high 38 RBIs and ten home runs. A member of the second team All-Patriot League, Walewander ranked fourth in the Patriot League in RBIs and finished second in home runs. Walewander had 11 multi-hit games, including a massive performance going 4-5 with eight RBIs against Coppin State (4/14).
