BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Coming off its most dominant win of the season, the Lehigh women's lacrosse team returns home on Saturday to host Colgate at 1 p.m. Saturday will be Senior Day as the Mountain Hawks' five seniors will be recognized prior to opening draw. Lehigh clinched its fourth straight Patriot League Tournament berth with its 20-11 win at Lafayette Wednesday and is now looking to clinch a home game in the Patriot League Quarterfinals.

The Mountain Hawks would clinch a home game in the quarterfinals for a second straight season with a win Saturday and a Bucknell loss at Navy. Lehigh is currently in third place in the league standings at 5-2 (10-4 overall), and could still reach as high as second place with wins over its last two games and two Navy losses.

There will be a mid-line challenge at halftime for a chance to win $250 and fans can enter by checking into the game on the Mountain Hawk Rewards App. Lehigh students can take the Goodman Bus Service to the game. Buses leave at 12:15 and 12:45 p.m. from the Dialogue Center on Taylor Street (between Taylor Gym and Grace Hall).

Lehigh jumped out to a 10-2 lead at Lafayette Wednesday, which turned into a 15-5 halftime advantage. Senior Julianne D'Orazio paced the offense with a career-high six goals (five in the game's first 22:39) to eclipse 50 career goals. The six points was also a career high. Sophomore Courtney Henig tallied a career-high seven points behind two goals and five assists while senior Allison LaBeau also had seven points (four goals, three assists), her seventh straight game with at least five points. LaBeau also tied her Lehigh single-season assist record with 34 while collecting her 50th-career groundball in the contest. It marked the first time the Mountain Hawks reached 20 goals since Mar. 20, 2010, a 20-4 win, also against Lafayette. It was the first time Lehigh scored 20 in a true road game since Apr. 14, 1994, a 22-4 win at Saint Joseph's. The Mountain Hawks also reached 20 in a neutral site contest away from home, on Mar. 2, 2008, a 23-3 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The Mountain Hawks' defense was just as impressive Tuesday night as junior Kayleen Kelly had three groundballs, four draw controls and a team-high three caused turnovers, all while covering the nation's leading goal scorer Kirsten Wilhensen. Kelly held her to a single goal, which came in transition following a draw control.

Colgate enters the weekend with a 4-9 record and 1-6 mark in Patriot League play. The Raiders are coming off an 11-9 home loss to Army West Point on Wednesday. Colgate's wins this season have come against Vermont (14-11), Siena (16-8), Niagara (11-10) and American (15-6). Isabel Kreitler leads the offense with 51 points behind 40 goals and 11 assists while Haley O'Hanlon has 42 points (29 goals, 13 assists). O'Hanlon also leads the Raiders in groundballs (30), caused turnovers (23) and draw controls (45). Asil Asfour has started all 13 games in goal and owns a 13.72 goals against average and .359 save percentage.

Lehigh beat Colgate 13-6 in last season's Patriot League Quarterfinals to snap a six-game losing streak against the Raiders and pull within 24-12 in the all-time series. Beausoleil led Lehigh's offense with a career-high seven points behind four goals and three assists in the postseason victory. In the regular season,  the Raiders earned a 10-8 win, coming back to win after Lehigh opened a 7-4 second-half lead. Prior to Colgate's six straight wins, Lehigh won the previous two and three of the previous five contests. The sides first met in 1981, a 6-5 Lehigh victory. Lehigh won eight of the first 13 meetings before Colgate responded with a 10-game winning streak from 1998-2006.

Following Saturday's game, the Mountain Hawks wrap up the regular season when they travel to Bucknell next Friday, Apr. 28 at 6 p.m.
