BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Riding a five-game winning streak, the Lehigh women's lacrosse team returns home on Wednesday night to host Navy in a key Patriot League matchup. Opening draw is set for 7 p.m. on the Patriot League Network. Through two league games, the Mountain Hawks are one of just two undefeated teams in Patriot League play while Navy is 1-1, most recently earning a convincing 17-6 win over Holy Cross on Saturday.

Lehigh is coming off a 14-10 victory at American University on Saturday to move to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in the Patriot League. Junior Haley Wentzel pumped in a career-high five goals for the Mountain Hawks, including one with 18 seconds left in the first half - her third of the game - to put Lehigh up 6-4. After the Eagles tied the score at four, Lehigh scored 10 of the game's final 16 goals. Lehigh immediately got back on the board to start the second half as senior Julianne D'Orazio scored her third of the game, good for her third straight hat trick.

Freshman attacker Autumn Ryan picked up a career high in both points (three) and goals (two), contributing to Lehigh's second most goals in a game this year. Senior attacker Allison LaBeau also had a season-high seven points, recording two goals and a career-high five assists. LaBeau leads the team in points with 38 (18 goals, 20 assists), while she's up to 204 career points. She became just the fifth player in school history to reach the 200-point plateau with an assist on a D'Orazio goal at 6:20 of the first half Saturday. D'Orazio currently leads the team in both groundballs (28) and caused turnovers (21) after another three groundballs and a caused turnover against American. She also owns a team-leading 20 draw controls. Senior goalie Taylor Tvedt is 17th in the country in both goals against average (9.06) and save percentage (.490).

On Monday, D'Orazio was named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week for a second straight week while LaBeau was named the league's Attacker of the Week.

Navy enters Wednesday's game 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the Patriot League following Saturday's 17-6 win against Holy Cross. Freshman attacker Kelly Larkin leads the Midshipmen with 38 points (23 goals, 15 assists) while junior midfielder Jenna Collins is right behind with 37 points (27 goals, 10 assists). Junior defender Blake Smith leads with 16 caused turnovers and is tied for the team lead in groundballs with 18. Junior goalkeeper Ingrid Boyum has started all nine games for Navy thus far, recording a 9.12 goals against average and a .377 save percentage.

Navy has won the last six meetings against Lehigh and holds an 8-4 advantage all time in the series. Last year, the Mountain Hawks lost 11-5, which snapped Lehigh's seven-game winning streak entering the contest.

Following Wednesday game, Lehigh will continue Patriot League play following with a home matchup against Boston University on Saturday at noon at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
