BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's tennis team is set for two matches this weekend, including its first road contest of the season with a trip to Penn State. After facing the Nittany Lions at 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Mountain Hawks will return home to host Drexel on Sunday at 3 p.m. inside the Lewis Tennis Center.

Live scoring will be available for Saturday's match at Penn State on gopsusports.com.

The Mountain Hawks are looking to rebound from a doubleheader loss to Richmond on opening day last Saturday at home. The Spiders claimed a 7-0 win in the morning match before wrapping up the day with a 4-0 victory in the nightcap.

Penn State is also looking to rebound from a 0-2 start to the season. The Lions suffered back-to-back 4-1 losses to Vanderbilt and Notre Dame last week in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend at the North Carolina Regional. PSU's Ben Lieb picked up a win over Vanderbilt's Panu Virtanen (6-4, 6-4) at No. 6 singles, while Christian Lakoseljac recorded a victory for Penn State over Eddy Covalschi of Notre Dame (6-2, 6-2) at No. 2 singles. The Lions will also host Cleveland state on Saturday prior to facing the Mountain Hawks at the Penn State Indoor Tennis Center.

Drexel will come to Bethlehem sporting a 3-1 record already on the young season. The Dragons opened the season on January 21 with a doubleheader sweep over La Salle, 5-1, and St. Francis (N.Y.), 4-1. Drexel suffered a setback to Georgetown last Friday in a 5-2 loss to the Hoyas, but rebounded with a 4-0 victory over Morgan State last Sunday. The Dragons will be making their first road trip of the season when they travel to the Lewis Tennis Center on Sunday.

Drexel's duo of Hamza Laalej and Youssef Lahlou were named the Colonial Athletic Association Doubles Performer of the Week this past week. The pair of the Moroccans was the only Drexel pair to win both of its matches last week.

Looking ahead, Lehigh will remain home next Saturday to face Delaware on the second leg of a five-match home stand in the month of February.
