Lehigh Tennis to Host Stony Brook in Saturday Doubleheader

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's and women's tennis teams return to action on Saturday with home matches against Stony Brook inside the Lewis Tennis Center. The women will lead off at 11 a.m. and the men will follow at 3 p.m.
The Lehigh women will return to the courts for the first time since facing Drexel at home on February 5. The Mountain Hawks are off to a 0-2 start this season after falling 6-1 in the season opener to Iowa state and then coming up short in a 5-2 loss to Drexel.
Junior Christina Auyeung, freshman Sibel Can and sophomore Grace Lin are each tied for the team lead with 1-1 records on the season in singles. The pairing of Auyeung and Jamie Campisi lead the squad with a 1-1 record while playing at No. 1 doubles.
The Lehigh men enter Saturday's tilt with a record of 1-4 on the season and are looking to ride of the momentum coming off the first win of the season last Saturday over Delaware. The Mountain Hawks extended their streak to six-straight wins over the Blue Hens with the 5-2 win.
Sophomore George Cooper leads the squad with two singles wins on the season at an overall record of 2-2 and a record of 2-1 at flight No. 1. The doubles pairing of Graham Lehman and Jack Petersen have compiled a record of 2-1 while playing primarily at flight No. 2. Ethan Bogard and Colin Nardella sport a 2-3 record with both wins at flight No. 3.
The Stony Brook women enter Saturday's match with a record of 1-1 after opening the season last weekend against Army West Point and Connecticut. The Seawolves earned a 4-3 victory over Army in the season opener last Friday before falling 5-2 against UConn last Saturday. The Seawolves are coming off a 10-7 record last season.
In the men's match, the Seawolves will be making their dual season debut. Stony Brook is coming off a 7-7 record from last season.
