
Lehigh Men Play Host to Delaware on Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks continue their five-match February home stand on Saturday when they host Delaware at the Lewis Tennis Center for a match at 12 p.m.
Lehigh is coming off a hard-fought 4-2 loss to Drexel last Sunday at home. The Mountain Hawks started off strong by winning the doubles point as Jack Petersen and Graham Lehman teamed up for a 6-2 win at flight No. 2 and Ethan Bogard and Colin Nardella combined for a 7-5 win at flight No. 3 to clinch the point for Lehigh. The wins were the first of the season for both pairings this season. George Cooper earned a big win at No. 1 singles for his first singles win of the season.
The Mountain Hawks are off to a 0-4 this season, but look to be gaining momentum having played their most closely-contest match of the season against Drexel.
Delaware enters Saturday's contest with a 1-1 record on the season. The Blue Hens opened the season on February 5 with a 6-1 loss at Navy and then recorded a 5-2 victory on the road at Howard on February 8.
Lehigh cruised to a 7-0 victory over Delaware in last season's meeting. Bryant Born, Petersen, Cooper, Christopher Auteri and Tyler Hansen all recorded singles victories in contribution to the shutout win.
The Mountain Hawks are currently riding a five-match win streak over the Blue Hens. Delaware's last victory over Lehigh was a 5-2 victory in the 2011 spring season.
