
Mountain Hawks Return Home Saturday to Face Loyola

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks return home for their second meet at Jacobs pool this semester and their second Patriot League dual of the season as they host Loyola on Saturday. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
Lehigh is coming of a pair of road meets last weekend with a tri-meet at West Chester and a dual at Rider. The men posted a 165-57 victory over nationally-ranked Bloomsburg at the tri-meet, with a loss to nationally-ranked West Chester and a loss at Rider. The women posted a 178-59 victory over Bloomsburg and 201-99 win over Rider, with a loss to nationally-ranked West Chester.
The two-time Patriot League Female Diver of the Week Megan Fennell is coming off another record-setting performance in which she set the three-meter diving records last Saturday at Rider. In just three meets, the freshman now holds the school and freshman records in both the one-meter and three-meter events.
Payton Miles also compiled another strong week as she racked up three more individual wins and contributed to two relay victories. Miles is undefeated in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle this season.
Sydney Bornstein went undefeated in all three of her individual events last week , including two wins in the 200 butterfly as she is now 3-for-3 this season. The senior also placed first in the 500 freestyle at Rider.
Walker Wilson led the way for the men last week as he posted three victories and one second place finish in his four individual event. The sophomore also contributed to a pair of wins and one second place finish in three relay events on the week. Wilson is undefeated in the 500 freestyle this season.
Loyola is also coming off a pair of meets last weekend with a home dual against Boston College and a road dual at Lafayette. The Greyhound men went 1-1 with a loss to Boston and a 154-144 victory over Lafayette, while the women swept both meets, including a 211-88 victory over Lafayette. The Loyola men are 3-1 this season, including league wins over American and Colgate, while the women are off to a 4-0 start.
The Greyhounds return 18 letter winners on the men's side, including defending Patriot League 100 breaststroke champion and record holder Ben Cono. The Loyola women return sophomores Devin Cronin and Emily Koegl, who finished 13th and 15th, respectively in the 200 breaststroke at last season's Patriot League Championships.
