Mountain Hawks Wrap Up Weekend Road Trip at Rider

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh closed out the week with a trip to four-time defending MAAC Champion Rider on Saturday. The Broncs defeated the Mountain Hawks, 185-105, as Lehigh captured three individual wins and one relay victory on the day.

Kevein Fleck captured Lehigh's first win of the day when he posted the top time in the 1000 freestyle with a mark of 9:49.61. Greg Gardner placed third with a time of 9:53.79 and Matt Feryo came in fourth with a time of 9:53.96.

Walker Wilson is now 3-for-3 in the 500 freestyle as he posted the top time of 4:40.75. Fleck came in third and Gardner placed fourth.

James Mauk captured Lehigh's third individual win on the day as he placed first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.69. Nico Lastauskas placed second with a mark of 2:03.31.

Lehigh capped the day by winning the 400 freestyle relay. Zach Tieke, Max Goldenberg, Wilson and Greg Giannella teamed up for the winning time of 3:08.40.

The Mountain Hawks will return to action Saturday, October 28 in a home Patriot League dual against Loyola. The meet is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
