BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Coming off a 9-7 win over Yale last weekend, the Lehigh women's lacrosse team will host Mount St. Mary's on Saturday at 3 p.m. as the second game of a Lehigh lacrosse doubleheader. Last time out, the Mountain Hawks fought off a late rally by the Bulldogs to earn their first win of the season.

Several Lehigh players impressed against Yale, including freshman attacker Courtney Henig, who tallied her first-career hat-trick. Junior midfielders Lauren Beausoleil and Allison LaBeau added two goals and two assists each in the victory. Beausoleil also posted a career-high five grounballls. Junior Julianne D'Orazio led the defense with a career-high four caused turnovers to help Lehigh earn its first-ever victory against Yale.

Henig, Beausoleil and LaBeau have combined for 11 of the team's 15 goals through two games while four others have scored one goal apiece. Beausoleil leads the way with eight groundballs while sophomore Kierstyn Voiro has seven. D'Orazio, Voiro, Garden and junior goalkeeper Taylor Tvedt have combined for 13 caused turnovers.

In its season opener, Mount St. Mary's fell to fellow Patriot League opponent Bucknell last Saturday by a score of 11-5. Five different Mount St. Mary's players tallied a goal in the loss. Coming off a 6-11 record in its 2015 campaign, the team finished NEC play on a high note, winning five of its last six contests before falling to Wagner in the NEC Semifinals. The Mountaineers are returning five of their top six scorers from last season, highlighted by midfielders Kelly Maloney (28 goals, six assists in 2015) and Nicole Lantuh (27 goals, 14 assists in 2015).

The Mountain Hawks won their 2015 matchup with the Mountaineers by a score of 16-8. LaBeau scored a game, and career-high six goals in the contest while Lantuh added a hat trick for Mount St. Mary's. The win gave Lehigh a 6-2 lead in the all-time series.

Following Saturday's game, the Mountain Hawks will return to action next Saturday when they host Iona at 3 p.m.
