Led by Suarez, Lehigh places five on golf honor roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Five Mountain Hawks were named to the 2010 Patriot League men’s golf Academic Honor Roll, announced Monday. Senior finance major Steve Suarez led the Mountain Hawks with a 3.85 grade point average, capping off a year in which he finished second individually at the Patriot League Championships and was voted the league’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year for men’s golf. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain a GPA of 3.2 or better and must participate in one of the league’s winter or spring sports.
Joining Suarez on the honor roll were senior Dylan Evans, junior Dwight D’Iorio and freshmen Christopher Hornat and Sean Keller.
A total of 41 student-athletes from the league’s eight member schools were named to the men’s golf Academic Honor Roll.
