Lehigh done with day one in Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – After 18 holes of golf at Naval Academy Golf Course Lehigh is tied for eighth place in the 21-team Navy Invitational after the Mountain Hawks shot a 311, the same score as Iona and Navy Gold. Navy is currently in first place with a 286 and the Midshipmen are followed by Columbia (296), Bucknell (304), and St. Bonaventure and West Chester with identical scores of 305. Doug Marcincin is currently Lehigh’s top individual after he shot a 76.
Other Mountain Hawks who played on Saturday include Tin Rosenhouse who is tied for 29th after shooting a 77, Steve Suarez who shot a 78 and sits in a tie for 37th, Dylan Evans who is tied for 61st with an 80 and Mac Diorio who shot an 87 and sits in a tie for 93rd place.
Ben Hayes of Navy shot a four-under 67 and leads Clark Granum (Columbia) and Peter Reilly (Navy) by four strokes.
The final round of golf will get underway at 8:15 on Sunday morning.
