Baseball places 13 on PL Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed 13 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for baseball, announced by the league on Tuesday. A total of 69 baseball student-athletes from around the league were honored led by Army’s Ben Koenigsfeld who was named the Patriot League’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year in May. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain a 3.2 grade point average and compete in one of the league’s winter or spring championship sports.
The Mountain Hawks were led by senior Andrew Berger, who posted a 3.93 GPA as a finance major. Sophomore Cory Kent was next with a 3.85 GPA in the College of Arts and Sciences, followed by junior political science major Sean Killeen, who posted a 3.75 GPA.
Others named to the academic honor roll for Lehigh include seniors Patrick Groome, Rob Russell, and Jordan Warncke, juniors Ross Biggs, Austin Borden, Billy Goldman, Mike Lebo, Brendan McGaheran, and Brendan Pifer, and freshman Cameron Phillips.
