Lehigh club team honored by NIRSA

Bethlehem, PA – It was recently announced that Lehigh University is the 2005 recipient of the NIRSA/USTA National Ace Institutional Award, given by the National Intramural Recreation Sports Association. Lehigh was nominated by its USTA Sectional Collegiate representative for the award which honors excellence on the club level. "I want congratulate and thank professor (Sudhakar) Neti and (Lehigh varsity head coach) Dave Shook on their willingness to help and support our club team,” said Jane Josephson, Lehigh’s Director of Club and Intramural Sports. “It takes a team of good people to make this possible and I would like to thank them as well.”
Josephson also credits the work of club president Randy “Scott” Tripp for his leadership and rapport with the department staff.
