Mountain Hawks soar past Spartans

Tampa, FL – Lehigh won its fourth match in five outings Thursday, defeating the University of Tampa 6-3. With the win Lehigh improves 6-3. Doubles action was first on the docket and the Mountain Hawks jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, earning victories in second and third doubles. In singles competition, the Mountain Hawks again were dominant. Lehigh won four of six flights, including Kristen Nowicki’s ninth win of the season at first singles. Also earning wins for Lehigh was Andrea Scott, Kristen Mulstay, and Alina Kors. The Mountain Hawks return home to face Villanova on March 26th at 2:30 p.m. Lehigh will open Patriot League play three days prior on the 23rd at American.
