Mountain Hawks clip Hens' wings

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh won its second consecutive match Saturday morning, defeating Delaware 4-3. The win moves the Mountain Hawks to 4-2 on the season, while the Blue Hens fall to 0-1.
Lehigh returned to full strength as Maria Anorga returned from a foot injury. With a full squad, the Mountain Hawks swept doubles action. The tandems of Kristen Nowicki/Kristen Mulstay, Jamie Fass/Andrea Scott, and Alina Kors/Maria Anorga all managed wins.
On the singles side, Nowicki remained undefeated, topping Jessica Wilkes 6-2, 6-1. Fass fell in second singles, while Scott and Mulstay were victorious at third and fourth singles. The Blue Hens managed wins in the final two singles matches as Stephanie Riddle and Julia Shapiro defeated Danielle Suchow and Kors respectively.
The Mountain Hawks return to action Sunday at 10:00 vs. West Virginia at the Lewis Tennis Center.
