Multiple tennis events on tap this weekend

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh’s tennis squads return to action Friday-Sunday at the Lewis Tennis Center in a weekend full of tennis action. On Friday the women face Seton Hall. On Saturday and Sunday both squads will be in action. Stony Brook comes to town on Saturday for men’s action, while the Drexel Dragons round out the weekend. The Lehigh women are coming off a 5-2 win over Howard, while Seton Hall is 0-2 on the season. The Mountain Hawks are led by Kristen Nowicki. Nowicki is undefeated in three singles matches this season and 2-1 in doubles play. Also tops on the women’s side is Jamie Fass. Fass most recently picked up a three set win over Howard, pushing her singles record to 2-1. For the men, two straight victories have improved their record to 2-1. The initial opponent for the weekend will be the Stony Brook Seawolves. A host of Mountain Hawks lead the way with 2-1 singles records. Ty Esler, Jonathan Swanson, Ryan Hefter, and Craig Ditman are all 2-1 heading into the weekend.
