Mountain Hawks too much for Virginia

Bethlehem, PA – Senior Brad Dillon extended his school record-setting win total to 39 straight matches as seventh ranked Lehigh easily defeated Virginia 35-6 in the first of two matches against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents at Grace Hall on Saturday afternoon. Dillon, ranked fifth nationally, won by major decision over Michael Grogan 18-5. Freshman Matt Cassidy recorded his second fall of the season defeating Kevin Collier in 4:31. Freshman heavyweight Paul Weibel and sophomore Travis Frick each won by technical fall. Weibel beat Andrew Leffler 19-3 and Frick defeated Drew Michelotti 20-5. Lehigh’s seventh straight win improved the Mountain Hawks overall record to 19-3. Virginia dropped to 5-4.
