Pair of Mountain Hawks recognized at year-end gathering

Lehigh held its annual awards dinner at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem last week, and three Lehigh student-athletes garnered recognition, in a program that included dinner, presentation of awards, and reflections from the on the recently-completed season.
Sophomore Alan Borowsky captured the Athlete of the Year Award, which is presented to the team member who makes the most outstanding athletic contribution to the accomplishments of the team. Borowsky consistently led Lehigh on the links, pacing the team in several tournaments over the course of the season.

The Scholar-Athlete Award goes to the student-athlete who in the eyes of his/her teammates exemplifies the ideal of the scholar-athlete. This year’s scholar-athlete award also went to Borowsky, who has posted a 3.44 grade point average as a Spanish major.
Sophomore Ross Feldman won the Coaches Award at the banquet, which is presented to the individual who made significant contributions to the well being of the team in terms of attitude, improvement, or special leadership. Feldman was Lehigh’s lone All-Patriot League selection after placing in a tie for tenth place at the 2005 Patriot League championships.
