Lehigh sits in a tie for ninth after day one

– Lehigh shot a 602 as a team to finish in a tie for 9th in a crowded 16-team field on day one at the Cornell Invitational on Saturday. Rider shot a 581 over the first 18 holes to take the lead in the event, which took place at the Par 72 RTG Golf Course.
Individually, the Mountain Hawks were led by the play of Benjamin Rodney, who shot a 145 on Saturday to sit in a tie for seventh place overall. Teammate Jason Moloney had the second best single round of any Mountain Hawk, shooting a 149 on Saturday. Alan Borowsky currently sits in a tie for 29th place after shooting a 151 on Saturday afternoon. The match resumes on Sunday afternoon .
