Markus Riggleman enters his seventh season as the strength, conditioning and flexibility coach for the Lehigh swimming and diving program. Markus was a commercial gym owner for many years before deciding to open a strength and conditioning business. His clients range from professional and amateur athletes to executives and fitness buffs looking for the latest in exercise technology to get in better shape. Presently he owns and operates Maximum Human Development and CrossFit Lehigh Valley a strength, conditioning and flexibility center in Bethlehem, Pa.
As the Lehigh swimming and diving strength coach, Markus is responsible for developing programs and techniques to condition, strengthen and increase the range of motion of our athletes. In 2008, Markus earned a Cross Fit Level 1 instructor certification, an Olympic Lifting certification and a Running & Endurance certification. He is a certified Kettlebell instructor and continues to pursue new and innovative knowledge in the field of strength, conditioning, flexibility and fitness.
Markus has been an accomplished athlete in various sports such as cross country and track. Most recently, he was a National Champion in power lifting. He continues to focus his efforts on helping develop the Lehigh swimming and diving team trying to bring out the best in each athlete. He currently resides in Allentown, Pa.
