Susie Andrews is in her ninth season as an assistant coach for Lehigh’s Swimming and Diving Team. Before coming to Lehigh, Andrews spent the 2001-02 season at Princeton. Andrews was a coach at the Somerset Hills YMCA in Basking Ridge, N.J., serving as an assistant for nine years and one year as head coach. While at Basking Ridge, Andrews coached swimmers that have competed in YMCA National, Junior National, and Senior National Championships, as well as in the Olympic Trials.
Andrews, a 1981 graduate of Lehigh, earned her bachelor’s degree in English. As a member of the swimming and diving team, she was voted a team captain and was a three-time recipient of the Most Outstanding Swimmer Award. A former High School All-American, Andrews competed for the U.S. National Team in Germany and Holland.
Andrews currently resides with her two children Kimberly and Charlie in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
