Chris Black begins his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Lehigh swimming and diving team. Black is no stranger to Lehigh’s Jacobs Pool, having spent six years working as an assistant coach for the Atlantis Aquatic Club. In addition to his duties with the Mountain Hawks, Black teaches Business and Industrial Technology at Bridgewater-Raritan High School in New Jersey.
A Pennsylvania native, Black competed collegiately for Rider University where he won a MAAC Championship in the pool and was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for his work in the classroom. Black earned his degree in Business Administration from Rider in 2000, and added a graduate-level teaching certification in 2004.
Black currently resides in Easton, Pa.
