Mike O’Connell, a former standout player for the Mountain Hawks, enters his 16th season as an assistant coach. A 1993 graduate of Lehigh, O’Connell received his bachelors degree in accounting. He earned his masters degree in secondary education from Lehigh in 1998.
"Having played at Lehigh for four years and then having continued to serve as an assistant coach, Mike knows the Lehigh soccer program as well as anyone. He has a great understanding of what it takes to succeed as a student-athlete here and appreciates what we are trying to accomplish," head coach Dean Koski said. "Mike is a big reason why Lehigh remains a highly successful program."
