Why Lehigh? “I loved the rowing program, the girls on the team and the campus. I also really liked the coaches and I’m interested in a five year education program.”
On Coach Meltzer: “She is very understanding about academic responsibilities but also great during practice, being motivational and supportive. She is also very approachable and friendly.”
On the Lehigh student-athlete experience: “There are many benefits including tutoring, study halls, also great friends and people that are supportive and great to hang out with both socially and in practice.”
Player Profile: Member of the honor roll all four years in high school … competed in the 2006 CanAmMex Regatta … placed fourth in 2006 at the US Rowing Youth Nationals … in 2007 placed seventh in the US Rowing Youth Nationals … coxed the lightweight eight team her junior year and the varsity eight team her senior year … parents are Eileen and John Sprague.
