John Bisco begins his fourth season as an assistant coach with Lehigh, serving primarily as the pitching coach.

 

Before Lehigh, Bisco was the head coach of the Easton Senior Legion baseball team for 12 years, guiding Easton to a 151-133 record.  His teams made it the playoffs eight of his 12 season, while capturing four divisional championships and made two regional appearances. 

 

Bisco graduated from LaSalle University in 1977, compiling a 20-5 record on the mound, in his four years on the squad.  In 1976 and 1977, the Explorers made back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Tournament, as Bisco was selected to the first team All-East Coast Conference in 1976, and second team in 1977. 

 

Following graduation, Bisco played and managed in the Blue Mountain League, for 22 seasons.  He helped the team capture six divisional championships and four regular season league titles.  While managing in the Blue Mountain League, he also served as an assistant at LaSalle under legendary coach Gene McDonnell, from 1980-83. 

 

In 2002, Bisco was elected into the Blue Mountain League Hall of Fame.  He is also a member of the Notre Dame High School Hall of Fame and the Northampton County Legion Hall of Fame.

 

Over his head coaching career, Bisco has an overall record of 306-238.  He has seen 37 of his players go onto play at the collegiate level, as well as having eight players be named Pitcher of the Year.

 

Bisco earned his MBA from Temple in 1984. He currently resides in Easton, Pa. with his wife of 27 years, Kathie.
